The cottage is owned by Jim and Joan Cullen who are retired Glasgow publicans and was purchased in May 2004. Recently redecorated and fitted with all new furniture and fittings of the highest quality. It is an ideal base from which to enjoy the beauty of Scotland and Ayrshire in particular, and would be perfect for those seeking a golfing, walking or cycling holiday in the Troon area.

This Mews Cottage has two fairly large, tastefully furnished bedrooms upstairs, each with twin beds and plenty of wardrobe and storage space. In addition, there is a good-sized bathroom with a bathtub and shower above. Downstairs there is a kitchen/diner featuring all modern appliances including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave oven and a washing machine/dryer as well as a traditional oven and hob.

The cottage benefits from gas central heating with radiators and also has a working open fireplace with a lovely real log/coal fire thus providing cosy and snug accommodation in Troon all year round.

The town of Troon boasts of a beautiful and award winning sandy beach and no less than five Golf Courses. Royal Troon (host of the 133rd open championship in 2004) is a 2-minute walk from the Cottage. Old Prestwick, the venue of the 1st Open, is just 10 minutes drive away and Turnberry is only 20 minutes by car.
